Please attach a runnable test case. You can find test templates at: https://github.com/hibernate/hibernate-test-case-templates.

Alternatively, you can create a pull request with an added unit test in {org.hibernate.test.cut and your fix. The other tests in org.hibernate.test.cut use hbm.xml files. If you prefer, you can create a test in that package that uses annotations.
