Filter is gone in Lucene 6 and are already deprecated in version 5. It should be possible to simply convert all our internal usage of Filter to boolean clauses first using org.apache.lucene.search.BooleanClause.Occur.FILTER , then we could simply have this converted to the Elasticsearch query.
