I have to see where it fails, there was a PR we could not accept because the contributor did not sign a JCP agreement yet, but if https://github.com/JavaMoney/jsr354-ri/pull/334 was really the reason why the default is left null here, I may do it myself. Since people will want to use the new version of the JSR eventually, it is good to see, if it works at runtime.
