Currently TCK test environments (such as the provided set up examples) require a BV provider, although the actual tests run remote on the EE server under test. As this dependency is irritating, we should try to avoid it.

The issue is caused by a limitation of Arquillian when used with TestNG which causes methods annotated with @BeforeMethod to be invoked on the client and on the server side.
