Still there should be a possibility to write independent filter with a boolean. Why do we need JPA/Hibernate when it cannot even abstract a simple boolean query in a filter

I am currently blocked by this as well since in our platform we do support more then 1 database, is there some workaround with javax.persistence.Convert or TypeConverter that works ?
