Guillaume Smet, right and I am not sure whether the scroll API would be the right solution here either. I honestly haven't dug into the ES integration that much beyond the user perspective. While the setting can be changed, when users are dealing with big data for whatever purpose this will be an issue at some point. Setting it to 15,000 / 20,000 / 100,000 only delays the inevitable.
