I am having the same issue. In my case it is worse. I have one data base with 32 schema's with 160 tables each. When all my clients are logged in, my application spend about 600M of RAM just with EntityManagerFactory. I am considering changing all my application architecture, but that will take a lot of time and will not be the best solution for me.
Any chance that we have this issue addressed any time soon?
