We just got this problem too with 4.2.7.SP1 when using QueryDSL.

QueryDSL has now installed a workaround to not expose this method for Hibernate: https://github.com/mysema/querydsl/commit/b5b9a8fa08538b637d77a338838d3572977e3e8e .

It would be nice to fix it.
