Thanks for your fast reply. As far as I understand ElementCollections - they are used for non-entities so basically I cannot have another nested collection in the non entity right? If so this is not a solution because I would like to have in AlternativeName another collection linking to another entity and so on..

Maybe I'm wrong somehow and this is still achievable using JPA/Hibernate? If not, than can we still consider if one of the proposed solutions (or maybe other) could be technically done without affecting some important Hibernate functionality?
