I agree, I have added the following lines to make it run:

 
                                                    def mongoDir = project.properties['embeddedMongoDbTempDir'].replace('\\','/');
def mongoLogDir = project.properties['embeddedMongoDbLogDir'].replace('\\','/');

I'll create a PR for that.
