This change still distinguishes between different types of Regions though. In other words this still allows a name to be resolved to multiple types of things. Which is really the first conceptual unclarity with the SPI.

So really what does it "mean" to name a region? What does it "mean" to get a reference to a Region based on name? What does it "mean" that I can actually get 2 or more references based on that single name?
