| Hello, We've just stumbled upon this recently. Are there any news on Hibernate's side about this issue? I saw that with more recent versions, Oracle doesn't require patching the JDBC driver anymore and that the "-Doracle.jdbc.DateZeroTime=true" flag can be passed. Although it would be nice not to require adding that JVM parameter and instead be able to keep our confidence that Hibernate will do the right thing (which so far we expected to be dropping the time part). I kind of understand Oracle's point of view, although it's quite late to be "fixing" this kind of behavior  |
