I'm facing the same issue in 3.5.6, 3.6.5, 3.6.6, 3.6.10, 4.0.0, 4.2.0 and 4.3.6
HQL-insert is for bulk inserts where high performance is needed. Without a proper identifier handling, there is no alternative for bulk insert other than native SQL.
We are definitely interested in this fix.
