I just read of this Proposal and wanted to inform you, that at our company (BSI Business Systems Integration AG) we are migrating our product from an SQL-based to a hibernate-based solution. The server runs in an osgi/equinox environment. A big issue we solved was the "lack of osgi" in hibernate. So we have now much knowhow in this field of "hibernate and osgi". I'll see to it, that someone will be assigned to the task to follow this discussion and help where possible (if needed).
