Paulo Pires, circling back on this one, although I realize it's old. Now that I think about it, I'm wondering if this is more of an issue that needs raised with Aries JPA. If I remember correctly, it was handing Hibernate the PU before the PU's bundle was fully started. I wouldn't think that should be the case. However, this needs re-tested to see if that was actually what was happening...
