Olivier Sambourg, I cannot reproduce this behavior under ORM5 after porting your test case to an Envers test case. Please see my PR I am attaching to this issue and let me know whether or not I need to make any adjustments. The test case results in a single revision being created which mimics the behavior you described from 4.3.10.
