Andrea Boriero yes, so about the JPA bootstrap thing, I talked with Sanne and the issue is that it doesn't help you to know if you're using a session or an entityManager, it's all about the bootstrap.

So I suppose we will need this compatibility option in the end and what you propose sounds like a good start.
