As noted over on the similar website issue (https://hibernate.atlassian.net/browse/WEBSITE-566?atlOrigin=eyJpIjoiNWRkNDlkMWU5MzkxNDNmOWFkNTViMzZkNzU1NGZlYzQiLCJwIjoiaiJ9 ) I suspect some kind of dtd caching of a bad file from yesterday. As I noted, changing the link from www.hibernate.org to the sourceforge link fixed it last night, and www.hibernate.org still doesn’t work today, however, I removed the www and used http://hibernate.org/dtd/hibernate-mapping-3.0.dtd and that worked!

I think somehow the dtd was bad temporarily yesterday and we’re caching it somehow.
