Hi,
I'm happy to announce that all the transaction
improvements scheduled for 5.1 are now in master:
- optimistic transactions [1]
- single lock owner [2]
- lock reordering (to be released in next BETA) [3]
On top of this some very significant performance
improvements were made for pessimistic locking, I'll
detail them in a blog.
I'm really keen to see how this affect performance,
especially for OGM :-)
The next few weeks I plan to benchmark and profile
the code - I'll be back with some more information on
this!
