Congratulations to the team.

One minor FYI for those who build the source under JDK 6 (yes, I know).  5.2.0.FINAL requires Java 6u30 or later due to this compiler bug.  http://bugs.sun.com/view_bug.do?bug_id=6512707

Subject: [infinispan-dev] Infinispan 5.2.0.Final is out!

Hi,

I am pleased to announce the much awaited final release of Infinispan 5.2.0. Containing more than 100 features and enhancements and 150 bug fixes [1], this release the sustained effort of engineering, QA and our growing community - a big thanks to everyone involved!

Highlights:

- The non-blocking state transfer[2] which is a much more efficient and flexible implementation of the functionality that allows Infinispan to serve requests during nodes joining/leaving.

- The cross-site replication[3] functionality which allows backing up data between geographically distributed clusters in order to protect against catastrophic failures

- Rolling upgrades[4] of the hotrod clusters (zero downtime for upgrades)

- a handful of fixes[5] and improvements for the Map/Reduce framework
