Well, I understand the point of using the @DataSourceDefinition for embedding the datasource definition in the application; however I had hopes for jms resources which are generally embedded for example within ESB archives.

Well there was lots of discussion about this in the thread you mentioned, so I'll stop and check for news when the AS7 moves to final.
