No, that is wrong. I rejected AS7-1034. We still need to support app managed entity managers that can be JTA or RESOURCE_LOCAL.We previously could work around issues like this via jboss-ignore.txt. That could help here or perhaps something specific to JPA would be better. My 2 cents would be that having a way to get any subsystem to ignore resources would be a good thing since you never know what insanities users are doing and will be doing in the future. Is there *anything* similar to jboss-ignore in AS 7 ?
For being able to detect automagically that you don't need to be magic would of course be the best but I think hard to do safely. /maxMax, do you have a simple test case archive (representative of the typical Hibernate 3 native JPA app) that you could attach to AS7-1034?I'm all ears since if that thread is true then a lot users will have a very hard time getting started with AS7. /max http://about.me/maxandersen _______________________________________________ jboss-as7-dev mailing list jboss-as7-dev@lists.jboss.org https://lists.jboss.org/mailman/listinfo/jboss-as7-dev_______________________________________________ jboss-as7-dev mailing list jboss-as7-dev@lists.jboss.org https://lists.jboss.org/mailman/listinfo/jboss-as7-dev_______________________________________________ jboss-as7-dev mailing list jboss-as7-dev@lists.jboss.org https://lists.jboss.org/mailman/listinfo/jboss-as7-dev_______________________________________________ jboss-as7-dev mailing list jboss-as7-dev@lists.jboss.org https://lists.jboss.org/mailman/listinfo/jboss-as7-dev/max http://about.me/maxandersen _______________________________________________ jboss-as7-dev mailing list jboss-as7-dev@lists.jboss.org https://lists.jboss.org/mailman/listinfo/jboss-as7-dev
