After my datasource was installed, I used the admin console to inspect it. Everything looked fine except, the datsaource shows up on the same tab as ExampleDS - whereas I believe that it should be on the tab for XA DataSources.
Either there is a missing parameter that would cause the datasource to be classed as an XA datasource or the admin console is not correctly displaying the datasource in the appropriate tab.
