So after further looking around the source code and rereading the useguide for 5.4, I am pretty certain that this is a problem which would be solved with local HT-persistence.
However, the user guide from 5.4 does not seem to be applicable for 6.0 at all as a lot seems to have changed. I have found a HumanTaskSpringTransactionManager as well as a JbpmLocalTransactionManager though, which both sound like reasonable alternatives to the JTATransactionManager? Is there a reason that the JTATransactionManager is hard coded?
Any help would be gladly appreciated.
