But "-client" won't work unless you patch the standalone.sh script to remove "-server" being added dynamically, so I'd suggest using "-XX:+TieredCompilation" instead (with Oracle VM >1.6.u25, I think OpenJDK too but I don't know for sure)
Also I'm running "cpuspeed -C" so that the CPU is not working at 800Mhz as it would otherwise in my case.
No idea what "-noverify" is, is that Apple specific? On linux with Hotspot it should be "-Xverify:none"
With all these, mine got from 2,2 to 1,2 .. not enough, but I hope it helpes someone with a more powerful system.
