Have a look at jconsole. If jboss-modules exposes something you need via an mbean, I'd accept a patch exposing it via the management API, the way we expose the dump-services op from the MSC mbean.
Looks very promising. My first inclination is to just expose all the attributes and operations in those jboss.modules MBeans. Any reason we shouldn't?
Better ask David. I don't consider those mbean interfaces to be long-term supported API. But whatever we expose via the regular management API will be, so we need to be sure about each item.
