Are there any high-level architechtural overview documentation of the AS? Considering the LOC-count of the AS, getting to know the code by just browsing around is quite time-consuming.
It would be nice to have some sort of overview what happens when the server boots, how subsystems are initialized, how a deployment is processed etc.
People interested in the various subsystems could then venture on and document the overviews of the various subsystems (and the devs could chip in by correcting misunderstandings)
