javascript is explicitly disabled in VPE to ensure "no funny business" ;) We simulate those by generating some approximation per relevant javascript. The issue with enabling javascript is that you most likely won't be able to run the dojo javascript since the sourrounding xhtml/xml won't be what the javascript expect.
