6.0.0.M1 has been tagged, and will be released once it passes QA. There will be another announcement once this occurs. Also, Branch_5_x has been removed, and all hudson jobs against it have been disabled. We now have one community development branch, and that is trunk. Thanks!

This hasn't been uploaded yet since it hasn't passed QA. I can push a 6.0.0.M1-SNAPSHOT if it helps. I started making local changes to bring some of the JPA-2 pieces over to AS trunk. I'm currently, getting a clean build and can run the AS smoke tests successfully. I committed my changes, I needed to delete my local maven repository before building. Next we need to fix JBMETA-233 on AS trunk.
