Just confirming that this (or something very like it) still reproduces.

  • I kicked off a run at about 18:30
  • the group became fractured at about 19:30
  • it had not recovered by 22:50.

As in the original report, one of the members had been logging "I (10.239.0.4) won't be the merge leader" every 16 seconds throughout that 3 hour period.
