After generating a simple project with Forge 1.3 with JSF front-end it calls the backing EJB 27 times to perform a select.

To replicate the issue

1. simply use Forge to create a project.
2. scaffold setup choosing JSF
3. entity -named Something --package whatever
4. scaffold from-entity whatever.Something

Then run the app on EAP 6.2 and go through the create, search system.
