I've altered the port for Tomcat to 7001, and have deleted the jboss installation. This time "ant install.demo" completed successfully, but I'm still getting the same error. Also, the web page Thomas pointed out didn't have any instructions beyond the very basic demo setup which I'm aleady trying to do and failing miserably. Could some one please shed some light on the matter. I'm really quite cnfused as to what I've done wrong. Are there any pre-installation steps I need to perform, like path setting, etc.? I already have JAVA_HOME and ANT_HOME set and the corresponding bin folders in my Path variable. I'm using Oracle JDK 1.6 update 31 and Ant version 1.8.4 for my setup.
