There could be two reasons for this issue:
- your Internet connection is invalid
- your maven repository is broken
If your Internet connection is good, try the following:
- remove the {USER_HOME}/.m2/repository/org/apache/maven directory
- call the Update Maven Configuration (or delete the project and run the quickstart again)
