Persistence provider question

Hi All,

 

Can OpenJPA or EclipseLink be used instead of Hibernate?  We are trying to deploy an application to osgi (servicemix) and can't seem to get around an issue with finding the persistence provider using Hibernate with Apache Aries JPA.
