Start the wizard and log into OpenShif Express

Open up the OpenShift application wizard:

Now provide your OpenShift credentials. You need a valid account on OpenShift. If you have no account so far, please sign up here or use the link in the wizard.

Create a new application

Now make sure you have a domain/create a domain and an application to embed cartridges to.

In the first wizard page you'd choose the name and the cartridge of the new OpenShift application.

You may now either finish the wizard (and embed cartridges later on) or embed cartridges to your application. The 2nd wizard page would allow you to do so.

Embed cartridges when creating the application

You may now embed cartridges to your application. A Jenkins-client may only be embedded if you have a jenkins application ready. If you have none so far, the wizard will prompt you to provide a name for it.

If the jenkins app was created successfully, you'll get the url and credentials pop up in a dialog. Please copy these settings to some paper/notepad since you wont get these again.

If your jenkins was created successfully, you're ready to embed the jenkins-client to your application. You may do so by finishing the wizard.

A dialog will inform you of supplementary settings for the embedded jenkins-cartridge (or any additionnal cartridge):

You should now have your app and the new jenkins-app in your list of available applications:

The application details, which are available by clicking "Details" now also show what cartridges were embedded to your as7 application:

Embed cartridges to existing applications

You may of course also embed cartridges to existing apps. You can achieve that by selecting your app in the list of available applications and clicking on "Embed" :
