As of now, HumanTasks available in jBPM allow only groups. But the requirement I have is that each group is further subdivided into many roles. Say "Selling" is a group. We have Administrator, Approver, Librarian and many other roles in each group. And the request for process instance approval should go to only a particular role in a specific group. (say Approvers in Selling Group). So I need to include a "Role" field in HumanTasks to cater to this requirement. So how could I make this change? Extending the HumanTasks class would do? And suggest any online resources to read about this? Wikis or Developer Guide?
