Yes, that's what exactly I meant. You need to obtain client side libraries from the corresponding version. To connect to JBM-1.4.5, you need client side libraries from 1.4.5 not from a different release. You can't mix them.
Also, JBM-1.0. is very old and none is maintaining that branch. So please get on to JBM-1.4.5 or HornetQ. ;-)
