I see that JBPM 4.4 has added functionality to allow local scoping of process variables. Does this work for tasks?
I've just come across the JBPM4 limitation on declaring locally scoped variables on tasks. Apart from the following link I can't find much on this.

Therefore hoping that a move to 4.4 will solve my problem.
