I have followed the issue closely and evaluated my options, but unfortunately I cannot use
the workarounds presented here. Another suggested workaround was to manually detach the
internal Fqns. However, I cannot find a way to achieve that. Are there any suggestions?

Detach leaves around internal Fqns even though they've been nulled the objects stored
within them.
This means that in apps that do a fair bit of attach/detach, the memory consumption keeps
growing up.
We should do a better cleanup process on detach.
Please find attached a simple test that needs further enhancing.
