It's a Beta, we have CAT and an open Jira. This type of comments simply shows that this user sucks at understanding the lifecycle of a project and the meaning of Beta.

I've asked for details to know what are the specifics.  
But it's worrisome. 
Please make sure when you test your stuff you do it together with the full toolset and not just your one plugin loaded. 
Let's make sure we test this as users and not just as individual plugin developers. 
That's the only way we can spot performance issues caused by the combination.
About performance while editing, there is a major one in Luna with GTK3: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=434898 . If you have a big file, scrolling is a nightmare.
What's strange is that I felt affected by this only after Luna got released.
