Hi Peter
yes, indeed, this is a known issue in the platform unfortunately.
The fix is to remove some xulrunner-fix from your swt bundle by
doing:
cd <eclipse installation>/plugins
zip -d org.eclipse.swt.gtk.linux.x86_64_3.100.0.v4233d.jar
libswt-xulrunner-fix.so
The Eclipse bugzilla discussing this is here:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=383890#c54
Of course setting the browser to an external one also works around
this issue.
Cheers
André

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I experience crashes like this several times a day since I have started
with JBT 4.0 about a month ago. I am not able to determine any
particular order of actions to reproduce it. However, disabling JBoss
Central and selecting "Use external Web browser" in the preferences
seems to reduce the frequency of the crashes.
Is this a known issue?
I would like to file it as a bug but I am not sure at all which tracker
I should use: JBT or Eclipse?
