Hi,

For 4.19.0.AM1 to be released by the end of March, we introduce a major change in the parent POM that could lead to some unexpected breaks.
This change is the move to a new Tycho version, from 1.7 to 2.2. This issue is tracked in the public JIRA here: https://issues.redhat.com/browse/JBIDE-27614

Tycho 2 is compatible with java15 and parallel builds but also introduces changes at the way the target platform is resolved and this can lead to build errors.
As a direct implication, the targetjre used in the targetplatform moved to JavaSE-11 and the maven version to use must be at least maven 3.6.3. ( as indicated here: https://wiki.eclipse.org/Tycho/Release_Notes/2.0#Update_requirements)

As we look closely at the different jobs/builds, jbosstools builds can be very unstable for some time.

NOTE: parent pom PR is not merged yet: https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-build/pull/312

Regards,
