I don't know if Seam always creates the same web.xml.
Does the content of web.xml depend on any option that the user enters in
the Seam project wizard?

That's right. There are no ${} variables in it. It just copied as is.

As soon as we start doing things different than seam-gen (e.g. not just creating a fixed web.xml).
then any changes to web.xml in seam-gen needs to be reimplemented in our tooling.
So it will be more difficult to maintain, but I do also see this as a requirement to work
well within Eclipse (or any other IDE)
