That would be a lot of efforts and troubles I guess. Let's wait for Juno to be released, and a lot of people will probably move to 4.2, and then, less install errors.
I'm more concerned about this dependency to org.eclipse.compare 3.5.202, which is the main cause of errors. Is this strict dependency intentional or could it be replaced by an "open-version" dependency? If it could be replaced, we could change that on branch.
