Agreed with Ratislav, convert to pom project seems out of place since only generic, non-faceted projects would be candidates for such conversion.
"Convert to Maven Project" is m2e's generic conversion mechanism. It's really really limited in m2e 1.0 and before. Hence our more advanced, capable, implementation of project conversion via the JBoss Maven Facet.
However, in m2e 1.1, we introduced a new conversion API, that allows m2e, m2e-wtp and possibly other 3rd party plugins to participate in the project conversion when calling "Convert to Maven Project", making it much more relevant compared to the Facet stuff. Eventually, even our Facet Mechanism will rely on that (or be phased out if found too redundant).
