I believe these tests, unlike all other db tests, are oblivious to the presence of an
overriding hibernate.properties file. I'm assigning this issue to myself.

fail with any database if hsqldb configuration from hibernate.cfg.xml is removed.
Probably these are not picking up some configuration.
