The offending code is: ,-- ProcessManagementImpl.java, 265, 266 -- | | Execution exec = execService.startProcessInstanceById (definitionId); | execService.setVariables(exec.getId(), processVars); | `-------------------- Setting the variables after startProcessInstanceById() is pointless, as this starts and runs the instance.
