It turns out that the task description is in the same boat, so I have changed that too.
The jpdl-4.2 schema also needed changing to allow description under task elements.
The appropriate patch files are now just per project jbpm-api.patch and jbpm-jpdl.patch
(which includes the test case)

The duedate and priority values in a jPDL task definition are not set on the task
definition when parsed. This means that the due date is not automatically set when the
task is created, nor the priority.
