Just to confirm that the second use case is one of those for which we have more requests
from end users. As soon as a developer is using hibernate to persist their object model he
would like the pvm transactions to participate into his application tx.
To go through those 3 different uses cases we could add a simple end user application
calling the APIs through three different configurations
idenitfy supported deployments

Identify the supported deployment environments and the corresponding configurations.
This basically will come down to transaction configurations in pvm, hibernate, spring,
ejb and the likes.

Controlling transactions:
* Hibernate transaction programmatic
* Direct JDBC connection programmatic
* JTA UserTransaction programmatic (== BMT?)
* CMT through EJB deployment descriptors
Also take given JDBC connections into account
