Joram Barrez commented on JBPM-2341:
------------------------------------
Bernd made a request for this issue: in BPMN the swimlane is stateless, while in jBPM3 the
swimlane was stateful.
Th use cases I've seen didn't need to memorize the swimlane, which means that
every new tasks is put in the pool for a certain group.
Whoever wants to do the task, takes it from the pool an assigns it to him/herself.
So my idea would be to make the stateless the default ...
change swimlane assignee memory

Fix For: jBPM 4.1
now a swimlane will remember the actual assignee and use that for subsequent tasks.
the default should be switched to *not* remembering the assignee. and reassign every
task from scratch. e.g. to the group.
an attribute should be introduced to activate remembering if the assignee that took on a
task that was assigned to a group.
